It is surrender, yes — but not the surrender of defeat. It is the surrender of a devotee placing a flower at the feet of the divine, holding nothing back, expecting nothing in return. That is the spirit this album was built inside of: songs written not to impress, but to give. This body of work carries months of quiet mornings, long silences, and the kind of listening that happens before a single note is played.
